ACLE SOCIAL CLUB
All members of the Indoor Bowls Club are members of the Acle Social Club as the cost( £10) is paid within your Annual Membership fee .
We now have all your membership cards for the Social Club at the desk - just ask the duty steward for yours. The new Social Club Membership cards will be used by Bar Staff to swipe at the till so you all receive drinks at much reduced prices. If you do not present your card you will charge at a higher rate.
The Bar has recently been re-decorated and new furniture has been provided.
I would urge you all to wander in and have a look around. You will be surprised at how cheap the drinks are and I can also recommend the food that is available on Thurs Fri, Sat and Sun. There is actually a special offer on lunches at only £10 - see notices around the bowls club.
There is also a new Social Club Noticeboard next to the Rec office to show everything is now open to scrutiny.
We are also well represented on the Committee of the Social Club with Jo Stewart as Secretary, Charlie Challiis and Dave Crosby also there for us.
In fact, I would go so far to say. we have the strongest Bowls, Social and Recreation Centre Committees we have had in a long long time so we are in safe and efficient hands.

Bowls Club Manager and
Recreation Centre Trustee
